BIOGRAPHY:  Entered the service by enlisting in the National Guard in 1928. He was called to active duty January 6, 1941 and spent time in Alaska, England, France, Germany, and the Panama Canal Zone, until March 7, 1947. He was recalled again on December 26, 1950. and was stationed at Ft Rucker, Alabama. Frank attended U.S. Army Command and General Staff College Associate Class and graduated December 20, 1962. He retired from the National Guard with the rank of Lt. Colonel and battalion commander of 135th Infantry on March 20, 1965. Decorations include American Defense Ribbon, American Theatre Ribbon, EAME Theatre Ribbon w/2Bronze battle stars, 7 Overseas Service Bars, and the Victory medal.
